Better late than Never

It's been a long time since I have posted anything. I used to take a pic right after I made the card, and then post it here. Now I forget to take the pix at all ! So, here's a selection of cards I have made this year !

So, hopefully, I will be more diligent about posting cards in the future. Thanks for looking.

Tony's Birthday card

My son's birthday is next week, and I actually have his card done. It's a step card, and I will probably make the envelope for it since it sits at about 5.5 inches square. Directions for the card are at Splitcoaststampers.com . The numbers & the frame are from the AP cart, and the stamp is from the Joyful Birthday set.

AHSC #30

Here's my submission to AHSC.blogspot.com #30. I made the card from a 6x6 square of white cardstock, used AP to make a 6" scalloped circle in polka dot Lagoon from the Dotty collection that CTMH had out a looooong time ago. The sentiment is from Stampabilities and says "Once in a lifetime you meet someone who changes everything". It is also stamped in CTMH Lagoon ink. The little dot embellies come from CTMH as well, and they are available through any CTMH consultant. (I am one !)

Lifting, Lifting, Lifting.........

This morning I sat down with my laptop and a nice hot cup of coffee and started floating around in the blogosphere. Thanks to Mary,  at CricutWithHeart.BlogSpot.com , I found a sweet Santa ornament. I tried to resist, but resistance was futile. So I lifted him. (hehehehehee) Here's how mine turned out, and you can go see Mary's original at the red link above. I glued all three flaps shut, but you can leave one open and fill it with candies, or you could add some baker's twine and have him hang on your tree. Once again, thankyou Mary, I had great fun with this today !

I have no friends

I think the problem is my follower widget is gone or wrong. If anybody has a suggestion, let me know. I'll keep working at it, and soon I will have a post with all my Christmas cards I have made. I'm  out for a couple of days, so check back Saturday and we should be bright and shiny !.

I really L-O-V-E all the beautiful comments that you sweet croppers left for me during the Hard Core Crop. I'd also appreciate it if it is in your heart, to join my bare bones little blog and follow me, and maybe tell some of your friends about me too. And I am not above bribery either...LOL (j/k). I am a Close to My Heart Consultant, and I have some prizes available for some of the people who join. I'd love to be as generous as Core and give something to everyone, but that's just not possible. First. I'd like your first Name and last Initial, and tell me if you are cards or scrap. I'm pretty sure I am set up right for new friends to join, if not, maybe someone could guide me.

Hard Core Crop - One last card - QAE

this card is Tim Holtz/Ranger Shattered Kraft Core. Say that 3 times fast ! It started out as a turqousey blue, ran it thru the cuttlebug , and sanded it. It didn't look like enough for me, so I spritzed some Tattered Angels Pearl mist on it, then wrapped jute around the middle for an accent. Let me say the picture does not do it justice. It sparkles and shines, and has almost turned the card green as it has continued to dry. What do you think ?
